$200 for a 60-minute initial intake session; this is our first session together

$185 for a 50-minute psychotherapy session

If you are looking to work through the Discernment Counseling process over the course of 2-3 days, Intensive Sessions are the right modality for you. Fee Upon Request. A non-refundable payment of 50% is required at the time of scheduling.

$185 for a 60-minute clinical supervision and/or consultation session

Telehealth and PSYPACT

Dr. Skillestad Winans provides telehealth services on a HIPAA-compliant platform to adults and couples. Telehealth can provide a great experience while saving you time and allowing you to achieve your goals from the comfort of your home. Dr. Skillestad Winans is available to provide services to clients in Washington State and 42 PSYPACT States.

Sliding Scale for Students

A sliding scale fee is available for students required to participate in therapy as part of their training program. Please note, rates are subject to change. You will be notified in writing 30 days prior.

Sliding Scale for Discernment Counseling

A sliding scale fee is available for couples seeking Discernment Counseling. Please note, rates are subject to change. You will be notified in writing 30 days prior.

I do not accept insurance but can provide you a superbill to submit to your insurance company and receive an out-of-network reimbursement for individual counseling. A good app to assist you in reimbursement is Reimbursify. It is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for out-of-network psychotherapy services.

I do not provide a superbill for couples counseling or discernment counseling, as the couple is the client rather than an individual and thus a diagnostic code is not offered.

I accept credit cards and health saving accounts as forms of payment; fees are due at the time of service. Your credit card is stored in the Client Portal, and I cannot view your card number.

If you are unable to attend a session, please ensure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
